Went to dc last weekend to visit collyn and see coldplay (my favorite band ever) in concert. Here's us at a little pond fountain thing at the smithsonian sculpture gardens. our friend Jared is working at a camp outside dc for the summer and came into the city for the day for a visit. it was so good to see him.


Sunday night we went to coldplay! It was literally the best night of music of my life. I love their new album and having their music swell up and fill the huge arena with walls of sound was just amazing. Our seats were pretty far away but we were straight back from the stage so we had a great view.
Towards the end they all ran up around the arena into the crowd and performed "the scientist" unplugged right in the middle of fans. cool.


the next 2 days I did a bit of sightseeing. collyn had to tutor inner-city kids in the morning so I went and saw the sights while she worked. Above is the Washington Monument--yay!
