3 days till I become Miss Holcombe

Since my last post:
I have decorated my classroom. Pictures are forthcoming...look on facebook for an album someday soon.
I have discovered the best place to run and I have begun getting back into shape. boston marathon look out.

School starts on tuesday and I am trying not to freak out. No one ever taught me what to do the first day of school and I have no plans yet. I have gotten really good at procrastinating. Today I am going to go hit up some of the department stores that are having sales for some more teaching clothes. In my mind as long as I look the part of a teacher, the plans will come.

So pray that my first week of teaching will go well and that I will actually have something to teach to the kids when they come on tuesday. Monday is a drop-in come meet your teachers day. I am kind of excited about that. I will meet my students before school starts but probably won't remember any of their names.
